Job Description:
Biochemist 1 - Quality Control
Position Overview
This position is responsible for supporting all aspects of the Immunoassay Quality Control Witness and/or Approval groups. This includes the release of commercial and non commercial immunoassay components and implementation activities required to support the Hydra project
Responsibilities
- Accurately assess testing data to ensure product specifications are met and DHR is compiled in a compliant manner, according to current GMP and site SOPs.
- Initiates and supports discussions with internal and external key work groups in support of processes to release product (execute timely and appropriate involvement of Technical Operations, support production flow)
- Create an initial path forward for addressing OOS, and non-compliant DHRs
- Problem solving
- Support department initiatives, initiate and drive process improvements

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
BS Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology with 3-6 years directly related experience
Ability to perform detailed data analysis
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organization and time management skills
