Job Description

Delivery Center for Financial Services is a strategic partner for Siemens Postal, Parcel & Airport Logistics (SPPAL), supporting our internal customers and colleagues in a professional way that allows them to fully concentrate on their core activities. At our Lisbon Hub we provide different types of services to 7 SPPAL entities across Europe.

Mission/Position Headline:

Executes consolidation, analysis and reporting for regular (monthly, quarterly, and annual) financial statements and keeps abreast of changes in internal guidelines and external accounting standards.

•Plan, prepare and consolidate balance sheet and P&L statements and reports, according to relevant accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP, local standards, etc.); Prepare reports for unit or 'Finance & Controlling' management;

•Analyze and evaluate assets and liabilities;

•Analyze tax obligations and recommends measures to optimize tax payments;

•Contribute with analyses relevant for annual financial report;

•Maintain operational bank contacts, and contributes in 'Finance & Controlling' activities;

•Complete projects concerning improvements of general financial processes;

•Cooperate with vendors, clients in reconciling the account status, on an accountable level;

•Keep abreast with changes of internal guidelines and external accounting standards, and trains Accounting Operations staff respectively.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

•Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or similar (Preferable);

•Fluent knowledge of German;

•Other language is a plus;

•Accounting knowledge;

•Good communication skills and team spirit;

•Team player;

•Proactive attitude;

•Customer focus;

•Microsoft Office (Excel, Access it's a plus);

•Knowledge of SAP Software will be an added value.
