Job description

For the site in 97828 Marktheidenfeld we're searching for a Student (m/f) for an internship in the area "Motion Centric, Software and Safety Validation".
In this position, you will improve existing and develop new Machine Simulations for the usage in the Validation department.

The internship duration is estimated to 6 months and can be started from November.

Your working environment - diverse
· Study and design Industrial Machines considering Marketing Requirement.
· Draw the Machine using CAD software (PTC Creo).
· Develop and program the simulation (IndustrialPhysics).
· Program and optimize the machine's applications on Schneider PLCs to achieve requested level of machine performance (SoMachine).
· Commission and troubleshoot PLCs and Drive.
· Take into account Machine Safety.
· Program tests monitoring the run of the Machine to detect issues in the product under validation (ETest).
· Improve the development process of the simulations.
· Improve the communication layer between the PLC/the simulation tool (TCP/IP).
· Study and improve the HMI of the software (easy to use for the testers) though the “Assistant” (VisualBasic .NET).

Your profile - qualifizied
· You're currently studying Electrotechnics (with focus in Automation) or Mechatronics to achieve your Bachelor degree and you're preferred in 3rd semester
· Due to your studies and your interests you have a very good level of technical understanding
· You can manage your work self-organized, you're flexible and you are highly committed
· You have very good English skills
