Job description

We are currently seeking a Validation and Testing Engineers to join our R&D department for our Automation Business Unit. Reporting to the R&D Manager,You will be focusing on Verification and Validation of Schneider Foxboro Evo SCD6000 and SCD2200 Product line.

The primary responsibility of the role includes (but is not limited to):

Write Test Plan and Test Approach

Design the Functional Test cases, Test database and Test Execution for SCD6000 RTU Product line.

Build the Test bed and understand the Customer Site System Architecture , analyze the customer configuration.

Design and validate the System Test cases , Performance and Security

Test Preparation and Report

Design of Test Platforms, related procurement activities and System Integration.

Hands on Experience in SCADA communication Protocol testing Secured DNP3 , MODBUS, IEC101, IEC 103/104 and IEC61850

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Bachelors in Electrical / Electronics/ Instrumentation engineering.
8-10 Yrs of Experience.
ISTQB Foundation level certification
Good Knowledge on RTU implementation on the Pipeline , Power Transmission, Distribution etc.
Substation automation, SCADA or Process Automation.
Good knowledge on Computer Networking
Good knowledge on Scripting tools.
Knowledge on test Automation
Good knowledge on Substation Protection and Control schemes and their implementations (not essential but preferable)
Excellent Communication skills
