Mission

The role of the Segment & Channel Marketing Manager Ireland is to deploy marketing actions to ensure continued growth in our core segments and channels that provide high levels of opportunity in Ireland, working with the Zone Segment and Channel managers and closely with local sales teams you will be responsible for highlighting growth opportunities and generating demand by utilizing relevant marketing techniques. Strong collaboration is required with Zone Sales and Marketing colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

· Channel & Segment Strategy - ensure a well-documented go to market Strategy working with the zone channel and segment marketing managers. Ensure relevant offers are covered and that all aspects of the segment and channel are understood locally, such as PAM/SAM, trends, key customers, key opportunities, market trends etc
· End users/segments - working closely with sales teams increase our ability to create strong end user preference for our offers. Create new tools, engage at a C level with customers, use various techniques to create demand, train the sales force. Understand the market opportunity, the PAM, the competition - create and deploy a strong value proposition. Particularly in segments where frameworks, technical specifications, public sector procurement and new technology are key a deep understanding of the market landscape is critical.
· Channel Partners - working closely with sales teams increase our ability to create strong end user preference for our offers within the core channel covered (Contractors, panel builders, OEM's, specifiers etc). Create new tools, engage at a C level with customers, use various techniques to create demand, train the sales force. Understand the market opportunity, the PAM, the competition - create and deploy a strong value proposition. Particularly in segments where frameworks, technical specifications, public sector procurement and new technology are key a deep understanding of the market landscape is critical. Ensure commercial policy is in place and robustly deployed for the channel.
· Demand generation and thought leadership - ensure SE offers are well positioned in press both trade and business and you are deploying campaigns to increase the opportunity pipeline.
· Digital - fully embrace digital tools for the edge control off, ensure that every offer utilizes appropriate digital tools for offer selection and customer use. Use digital to engage customers, create demand and reduce simple cases.
· Data - ensure a high level of offer data is maintained in BFO for the customer groups managed. Ensure customer mapping, account allocation, L1/L2 classification etc are all completed to a high standard.
· Offer development - using the knowledge and insight gained from these customer groups feed into both the local and global offer roadmaps for our offers, ensuring no offer gaps and customer satisfaction.
· Responsible for the Data Centre / Cloud and Service provider segment

Qualifications :

Qualifications:

·  Marketing or Business management degree or CIM qualification.
·  3-5+ years of segment/channel marketing or product management experience
·  Strong knowledge of sales and marketing processes.
·  A fast learner with a good sense of judgment and original thinking. Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adjust quickly to change.
·  A commercial mindset with experience building business cases from market research and analysis.
·  Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills.
·  Customer service orientation and experience working in a client facing capacity.
