Description de l'offre

Inside Solar Business Unit in Schneider Electric, and more particularly in “Utility Scale & Large Commercial” Line of Business, and in the context of great development of PV market worldwide with higher and higher needs for electrical network studies, you are in charge of the modelling of the dynamic behavior of photovoltaic plants in regards to grid connection constraints. You support our Sales Application Engineer team by providing to our customers the tuned models of inverters and Power plant controller as per the constraints of each proejct. You are also responsible of the Power Plant Controller model in main electrical simulation software.

Main missions:

· Maintain the “user model” code of Power Plant Controller in PSS/E, PSCAD and PowerFactory softwares (code update, validation tests and report), maintain the documentation for these models.
· Support Sales Application Engineer by delivering tuned parameters for each project, by training the customers or technical advisors for the use of the models, by helping customers when they face difficulties with the simulations.
· Perform worldwide grid codes analysis to underline any risk of non compliance of the Power Plant Controller or inverter features.
· Perform preliminary grid code compliance studies with PSS/E, PSCAD or PowerFactory and provide reports to the customers. The PV plant design, inverter capabilities and Power Plant Controller behavior should be simulated for several purposes: PQ capabilities, voltage and frequency operation range, voltage step during steady state, frequency response, withstand to faults on the network.
