Manufacturing Engineering Department

The Manufacturing Engineering Level 1 Technician responsibilities are to maintain, repair machinery, building or facility systems, maintenance of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) systems and digital processes used in a lean manufacturing facility of power measurements products. Skilled technician with good knowledge of machinery for preventive and corrective maintenance

What do you get to do in this position?

1) Perform skilled corrective and preventive maintenance

2) Repair machinery, building or facility system

3) Diagnose and resolve breakdowns

4) Set maintenance procedures and reports

5) Collaborate with the ME and Quality Department to monitor effectiveness of equipment process and test systems.

6) Execute calibration schedule for production and processes needs

7) Assist in training operators on basic equipment setup, operation & maintenance

8) Maintaining clean, safe and healthy work environment

9) Monitor and order critical spare parts for equipment

Desired profile

Qualifications :

This job might be for you if:

1) Post-secondary electrical / electronic engineering technician diploma or 2+ years of relevant experience

2) Have good knowledge of manufacturing equipment

3) Hands on experience de-bugging and troubleshooting

4) Good documentation skill in writing maintenance plan and procedures.

5) Ability to read and interpret product and equipment schematics

6) Electric safety background

7) Organized and self-motivated Team player

8) Good communication skills
