Logistics Network Design - Business Analyst

Job description

We are currently seeking a skilled, motivated and ambitious business analyst with a passion for logistics and supply chain management. You will join the Logistics & Network Design team where we transform and tailor our Supply Chain to meet our customer needs. This role will visualize our existing worldwide supply chain flows, explore the possibilities for improvement and propose the best design to flow our finished goods from our factories to our customers.
Responsibilities:
· Support the federation of Access Databases
· Implementation and management of a data platform (Extract, Storage, Business Rules, Visualization)
· Creation and management of a Data Enrichment process, scripts and queries
· Responsibility for building scalable and sustainable processes in advanced analytics, decision making, machine learning
· Creation of Data Quality improvement and Data Discovery dashboards
· Quality validations of the data analytics models developed in the team
· Work with domain experts to identify new opportunities and needs
· Interaction with business domain experts to understand their needs and requirements and identify data-driven opportunities
· Develop training documentation and deliver training to users on systems developed.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

·  Degree in computer science, mathematics, quantitative economics, physics, electrical engineering or engineering sciences
·  Programming experience in SQL, PL/SQL, PHP, Python, JavaScript, and other computer languages.
·  Experience in data discovery and data science
·  Self-driven / motivated individual
·  Passionate, problem solver, and desire to learn
·  Agile and ability to adapt quickly
·  Familiar with all major concepts of data science, understand the technical terms, ability to assess what expertise is needed to solve a given problem and ability to ask insightful questions
·  Up-to-date on current research, tools, etc.
·  Experience in assessing, improving or developing supply chain business processes including process mapping, process documentation, project management and leading change management is a plus.
·  Familiar with visualization concepts and tools (Tableau, etc.)
·  Strong verbal and written communication skills in a complex organization
·  Fluent in English
