The role
Reporting directly to the Financial Directo Process Automation Southern Hub, the Financial Manager/Business Controller Egypt is responsible for reporting and day to day financial management in the Egyptian JV legal entity .This role demands an awareness of the financial issues in a project oriented business and the ability to respond and adapt to a rapidly changing commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities

Working closely with Project Management / Execution, Sales and General Manager Financial Manager / Business Controller will be responsible for the day to day financial management of the PA Egypt Businness and all reporting requirements including:

· Working in conjunction with business managers to develop budgets and forecasts.

· Analysing financial data and preparing local statistical reports on a monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual basis, as required (including Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow items).

· Cash management of the operation

· Tax management and reporting including liaison with Corporate tax and Treasury

· Working closely with the local finance team and other function managers and staff to ensure understanding and integrity of the data.

· Monthly and quarterly corporate reporting .

· Any other duties that fall within reasonable scope of the role.

· Provide financial and commercial advice to department and project managers

Desired profile

Qualifications :

The Experience

The candidate, fluent in English, will preferably have experience of a matrix structure within a multinational project oriented organisation. Previous experience in management and statutory accounts as well as SAP and Hyperion systems is desirable. Budgeting, forecasting and reporting experience is essential as are strong computer literacy skills especially in Excel spreadsheets.

The person

The successful candidate will have good analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills. Ability to demonstrate the use of initiative in developing ideas and implementing improvements to working practices, and the ability to take ownership for work will be expected. Strong communication and influencing skills should be demonstrated. The individual will need to be able to work at all levels across the business and to recognise, respond and exceed the expectations of internal and external customers. Strong time management skills and an ability to exceed targets set for the business and the individual are essential.

Education

Degree in economic and business

MBA a definitive plus

Language

Fluent in English, both written and spoken
