PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

Customers expect fast ROI with low cost and low risk, so one of SAP’s success factors for the future is the ability to offer simple and rapidly implementable solutions.  S/4HANA, SAP’s next-generation ERP business suite, was designed with this in mind from the start. Users of S/4HANA enjoy a new end-to-end consumption experience that includes a “Guided Configuration” approach to customization.

Guided Configuration puts configuration settings or “implementation content” in the customizing tables of an S/4HANA system. Our development team is responsible to develop the underlying software infrastructure and the implementation content to make simplified customizing a central part of the S/4HANA product.

For the development team in Walldorf we are looking for a working student who would join our localization team. The localization team makes country specific implementation content.

Desired profile

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Amongst others, your tasks will include:

·  Being involved in the whole development cycle of preconfigured content for S/4HANA Cloud Edition
·  Testing the preconfigured test scripts in our Development environments in the area of FI, CO, MM, SD
·  Running check programs and validating the results
·  Reporting defects using SAP issue tracking system
·  Supporting team members in their daily work

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

·  Student (f/m) at a university or university of applied sciences
·  Language skills: Fluent English and German required
·  Should be familiar with spreadsheet software e.g. Excel
·  Motivation and work ethic are more important than technical skills for this positon
·  Soft skills: Team player with good communication skills and used to work independently
