PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
We are looking for a (Junior) Developer to join the team responsible for the development of S/4HANA Sales Order Management. S/4HANA Sales belongs to the digital core and therefore is at the heart of SAP’s product strategy.
You will contribute to the development of our product as part of a highly interacting team.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Developing software at SAP is more than just writing efficient code - it’s a team effort: starting at product definition and design, including coding, testing, quality assurance, and documenting the results. We follow agile software engineering methods and are in close contact with our customers or stakeholders to acquire early feedback. As a software developer, you are a good team player and eager to develop software for business applications in excellent quality.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Required skills
We expect you have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related fields.
As a (Junior) developer, we also expect you to have
• Experience with software development, ideally business application software
• Passionate about latest IT Technology
• Open-minded, self-driven and team-focused personality
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English and German (written and spoken)
Preferred skills
It would be desirable to have
• Knowledge in the area SAP Software and the related business processes
• Experience with ABAP and the related programming environment
• Experience with SAPUI5 and development of Fiori UIs
• As well as experience with standard software for on Premise and/or Cloud applications
WORK EXPERIENCE
• ideally 2 years of professional experience in the development of application software or a related field would be desirable.
But this position is also open for applicants who just graduated.
The position can be filled as part time position.
