PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Organizationally located within Global Controlling and supporting the Board Area GFA / COO in all controlling-relevant processes like budgeting, forecasting and month-/quarter-/year-end closing.

·  In our Steward role, we ensure compliance with SAP’s values, procedures, policies and legal requirements.
·  In our Business Partners role, we collaborate closely with the business and build a trustworthy relationship.
·  We pro-actively provide financial insights, transparency and decision support to our leadership in our Transformation Agent role we co-drive profitable growth with our stakeholders.
·  We understand the root causes of major business issues, testing hypotheses, and proposing and gaining buy-in for new, nontraditional solutions

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
During the internship you will have the chance to gain a deep insight into a state-of-the-art controlling department. In particular your assistance will be required for the following topics and tasks:

·  Support the GFA / COO Cross Controlling Team in their daily tasks on various topics, e.g. budget, month-end closing and forecast process
·  Reporting provided to the GFA / COO management team
·  Ad-hoc tasks and special projects
·  Master data maintenance of our controlling structures

The duration of the internship should be six months, starting immediately.

Desired profile

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

·  Student (f/m) at a university or university of applied sciences in Business Administration, Economics or a comparable field of study with focus on finance/controlling, ideally with a pre-degree or comparable duration of studies with sound results.
·  Computer skills: Good knowledge in MS Office (especially Excel/PowerPoint)
·  Language skills: Fluent in German and English - both written and spoken
·  Soft skills: Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please describe as well your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs/ programming languages.
