POSITION SUMMARY
You will be part of a team that develops innovative solutions in order to simplify the work of healthcare professionals and make clinical processes radically more efficient. Our current and planned projects in this area include but are not limited to clinical data warehouse and analytics solutions.
You will work on projects in different stages, from research projects with academic partners, to internal prototypes and market-ready software products using technologies like Amazon Web Services, Docker, Kubernetes, CoreOS, Ansible and others.

The location for this position is Potsdam. There is a shuttle for SAP employees running from Berlin to Potsdam and back every day.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

·  Contribute to the development of innovative cloud-native healthcare applications and core services for a cloud-based health network
·  Work in a DevOps mode and be fully responsible for developing, testing, maintaining, scaling and operating solutions
·  Full-stack development, designing and implementing features for complex applications end to end in a self-reliant way of work
·  Contribute to the architecture of on-demand solutions (micro-services)
·  Co-Innovation work with leading customers interacting directly with key users to iterate on solutions through analyzing requirements
·  Collaborating closely with expert designers and product managers

Desired profile

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Required skills

·  University degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering or a related field
·  Proficient programming skills in at least one programming language (e.g. Java, Go, Ruby, Python, JavaScript
·  Good understanding how to design and implement complex features end-to-end
·  Team player with strong analytical skills
·  Fluency in English and good German language skills

Beneficial Experience  

·  Cloud software development and operations (incl. Amazon Web Services, Docker, Kubernetes, Consul and Ansible)
·  Experience with continuous deployment methodologies and technologies
·  HTML5 and JavaScript based web frontend development
·  Agile methodology and Scrum
·  Background in healthcare IT / medical devices / bioinformatics / genomics
·  Design Thinking
