Job description

The Key Account Manager (KAM) Vaccines identifies and promotes Sanofi Pasteur products to strategic customers and other clients through development of relationships with key people at organizations as well as promotes the business and drives partnerships with Healthcare professionals (HCPs). The Key Account Manager is accountable to secure brand and vaccine portfolio access for the designated area. Represents a field-based and customer focused role that works closely with internal and external customers and facilitates pull-through activities to induce growth and profitability for Sanofi Pasteur.

Key responsibilities

·  Identify and prioritize sales opportunities within existing and potential customers
·  Develops account-specific offers and business plans for key accounts, with both short- and long-term sales and profitability
·  Customer facing responsibility for commercial conversations with HCPs
·  Collaborates with Marketing to develop customized programs and materials
·  Develops long-term relationships with key-decision makers at key accounts
·  Active participation in relevant congresses, symposia and other relevant events

·  Geographical scope: Romandy and Central Switzerland
·  Internal stakeholders: Marketing, Medical Affairs, Business Support, Commercial Affairs and Customer Care
·  External customers: all types of customers related to vaccines (key accounts, hospitals, networks, HCPs (specialists, GPs)

Profile

Professional qualifications

Degree in business, medical or life science field

3-5 years of experience in related positions

SHQA preferred

Knowledge of key customers and contacts

Commercial experience and understanding of the vaccines market desired

Fluency in French and German, English an asset
