What do you get to do in this position?

The El Paso, Texas Plant has an outstanding opportunity for a passionate individual to assume the role of Human Resources Business Partner Representative - Generalist. Reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager, this position is accountable for implementation and interpretation of existing Human Resources policies on a day-to-day basis. The person in this role supports the administration of recruiting, compensation and benefits, training, safety and environment, governmental reporting, and employee relations. Other duties include:

· Maintaining positive employee engagement throughout the Plant by focusing on employee activities, employee recognition programs, career development and communication forums.
· Works closely with management and employees to enhance work relationships, morale, productivity and retention.
· Providing advice concerning matters with employee discipline and conflict resolution.
· Assisting management with salary planning, job evaluations, performance appraisal systems, and benefits administration.
· Providing guidance in matters of employment law. Ensuring reporting requirements are completed in areas such as employment and employee separation.
· Serving as a liaison with the communities or outside agencies regarding HR activities or programs.
· Providing change and project management skills; demonstrating success managing projects that drive behavioral changes.

Qualifications :

·  Bachelor's degree with 1-3 years of experience
·  Strong leadership skills : collaboration, communication, influence, drive for results, effective planning / prioritization, project management
·  Ability to relate and communicate with employees of all levels
·  Previous experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
·  Bilingual: (English/Spanish) a plus.
·  Highly ethical.
