Job description

iMove, the Sanofi VIE Program, is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28.

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

PLEASE NOTE that applications that are only submitted in French cannot be considered by our non-French speaking partners at Sanofi worldwide.

Therefore, only applications that are submitted in English will be considered.

We are looking for a candidate for a VIE mission of:

Financial Planning & Analysis Controller -VIE Contract (W/M)

Due to growth activity and projects development in Sanofi GEEL Site (within Sanofi Industrial Affairs, Biologics platform), we are looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis Controller.

The goal is to produce effective reports using financial systems as well as excel. The site also needs to deepen functional expense controlling to improve business support and Management decision making.

The successful candidate will work within the current structure of the site and will fulfill various financial needs and interact with numerous site and network stakeholders:

·  This person will participate to the reporting tasks for Actuals, Forecast and Budget as well as monthly accruals and allocations. He/she will consolidate added value comments to explain variances.

·  The candidate will also act as a financial business partner to the site functional organizations. The position will support the business to measure outcomes of business process improvements in different manufacturing functional areas.

The candidate should have a continuous improvement mindset and solid aptitude of financial systems/tools.

Main duties:

·  Provide visibility on performance, challenge functions, track financial improvement plans
·  Work with the site functions, formulate and submit plans: headcount, budget, forecasts, as well as risks and opportunities
·  Create awareness with regard to expenses
·  Act as a business partner to the functional organizations (Quality, Technical Services, Supply Chain, Manufacturing)
·  Ensure on time and quality reporting, use of financial reporting systems (Essbase, Smartview, SAP, …)
·  Prepare Industrial Dashboard, analyses and submissions for Strategic Plan/Budget/Actuals/Forecast
·  Support in added value comments
·  Help make process activities more efficient
·  Support projects and perform ad-hoc analyses as necessary, helping the business
·  Interact with employees from site and corporate areas both verbally and in writing
·  Build relevant reporting and reports as needed
·  Participate in preparing monthly analysis for expenses.
·  Help roll out various reporting systems and uses of existing systems/tools
·  Participate in ad-hoc projects as necessary
·  Support and participate in the month end close process (accruals, validation, analysis)
·  Participate to Financial Control exercise

For above tasks we are looking for a young talent with following background:

·  Master with focus in Finance/Accounting/Business
·  1 year of relevant experience
·  Experience in expense control
·  System minded : experience with Excel, PowerPoint, SAP (or other systems)
·  Ability to synthesize and explain complex topics to non-experts
·  Mindset Accurate, pro-active, stress-resistant, focus on continuous improvement, team player
·  Languages: Fluent English is condition
