Program SaVIE (VIE of Sanofi) is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28.

We are looking for a candidate for a VIE mission of:
Financial Controlling Analyst
- VIE Contract (W/M)
Job purpose:
To give support and prepare financial information to the local finance team in daily activities as well as month closing presentations in compliance with Group controlling guidelines.
To focus on CAPEX and Fixed Assets maintenance and work effectively with other areas to give regular updates on the tangible investments.
Key accountabilities:
- Support the local controlling team in financial closing activities preparation (closing entries, accruals for P&L, etc.)
- Participation on the financial forecast exercises (F0/F1/F2/Budget+2/Quarter Landing/Strat Plan) and D+3 and D+6 document presentation making
- Ensure that periodical statistic data is correctly prepared and sent in time and form to the external authorities
- Prepare analyses of monthly and forecasts depreciation figures
- Responsible for fixed assets management (capitalization of assets under construction, physical tagging, asset report reconciliation, write offs and possible sales) according to the group & local Capital expense policies & SOPs
- Monitor assets under construction account and advice over possible impacts in financial statements
- Create and give maintenance to SAP and Internal Orders database according to local situation of investments in line with Capex and Opex forecasts.

- Conciliation of actual investments for month closing with reported figures
- Asset inventory taking and follow up on gaps or variances with SAP ledger
Routine interaction/communication with Engineering, Projects, Accounting and other key functional departments within the organization
Candidate:
Education / Experience:
- Master Degree in Finance, Accountancy or similar studies
- Technical skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of financial statements
- Good analytical skills
- Advanced level of Excel
Language:
- English – fluent
- French – fluent
- Spanish – as an asset
