iMove, the Sanofi VIE Program, is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28.

We are looking for a candidate for a VIE mission of:
Finance Controller
- VIE Contract (W/M)
Responsibilities:
Budgets, forecasts and monthly trends:
- Organizing and coordinating the budget and forecasts processes (region calendar, guidelines, etc.)
- Consolidating region financial data (Sales, Gross margin and Opex) and challenging countries assumptions
- Ensuring the alignment with corporate guidelines
- Preparing and coordinating region/headquarters budget
- Coordinating monthly sales forecast & quarterly Profit & Loss landing
- Submitting the budget, forecasts and the monthly trends in the tools
Monthly closing & reporting:
- Coordinating the monthly closing & reporting process with local and corporate teams (calendar, monthly calls…)
- Calculating & updating the monthly provisions with the Multi-Country Organisations and ensuring high quality of reporting v.s Group procedures
Performance review :
- Participating actively to the region budget execution and making suggestions to improve the performance
- Organizing a periodic performance review with regional controllers
- Preparing and publishing the region monthly dashboards
- Analyzing and commenting monthly results (Sales, Gross to Net, Gross margin, Profit and Loss and Headcount) and alerting about the variances vs budget
- Implementing Opex (operating expense) follow up and performing the analysis by country, function and nature and sharing it with the region team
Commercial policy & profitability analysis:
- Participating actively in the preparation of the annual commercial policy
- Analyzing the country, market and product performance, including price and volumes analysis
- Providing the regional teams with profitability analysis and working on action plan for low profitability products/markets
- Preparing the ad hoc financial analysis
Budget control:
- Coordinating the budget control and Opex monitoring
- Performing a monthly analysis of Opex by country and nature
- Guaranteeing the respect of Approval of costs process and the delegation of authority
- Guaranteeing the right allocation of expenses by nature, cost center and department
Audit, Compliance & Internal control:
- Following the internal audit recommendations and their implementation
- Guaranteeing the implementation and respect of the Group SOP (Standing Operation Procedure)
- Alerting the Management about any deviation and non-compliant transaction
Requirements:
Education:
- Master degree in commerce, finance, accounting or controlling
Related experience:
- Min 1 year of experience in a related position
Skills:
- English section (French is an asset)
- High controlling and analytical skills
- Excellent knowledge of financial reporting flows
- Excellent computer skills, including financial tools & ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems
