• Design, execution and documentation as well as statistical analysis and interpretation of the development and optimization of analytical methods applying aQbD principles
• Validation and transfer of analytical methods according to current regulations and GMP to production sites according to global and local procedures
• Assure scientific rigor for the design of experiments / project steps
• Pro-actively increase scientific excellence from the bench
• Generate documents associated with new product or process introduction including standard operating procedures
• Ensure current regulatory, GMP and HSE standards are taken into account and adhered to as governed by local, state and federal regulations, laws and policies as well as Sandoz policies and directives

Desired profile
Minimum requirements
• Studies in analytical chemistry or relevant natural sciences and hands-on experience investigating analytical methods (e.g. HPLC, GC, MS) to improve development of potent generic sterile injectable products
• 5 years relevant industry experience for BSc, 3 years relevant industry experience for MSc or 1 year relevant industry experience for PhD
• Passion and excitement for furthering the science from the bench
• Ideally a track record of peer-reviewed publications demonstrating scientific success and ability to write in a scientifically sound manner
• Organic chemistry knowledge is an asset but not required
• Open and engaged personality with a can-do mind-set and the ability to adopt to change
• Strong communication and inter-personal skills for stakeholder management and
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
• Good knowledge of relevant software tools (e.g. Minitab, Empower, Fusion)
• Fluency in English, German is a plus

The base pay is composed of a market oriented excess payment and the respective amount according to the Austrian collective agreement (at least € 48.718,04 per year).
