Job Description

Work closely with supervisor and/or lead designer to create production artwork and design high quality graphics, according to established guidelines, for promotional materials for use in the US and global markets.

Display creative problem-solving skills to achieve client objectives. • Proficient with the Macintosh OS and software including but not limited to, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. • Keep current with computer technology, hardware, and software. • Possess an average to high degree of color acuity. • Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment, overall adequacy, and accuracy. • Frequent internal company and external contacts. • Assist other designers as assigned by supervisor. • Maintain sensitivity to global and cultural differences as it applies to design. • Display a high degree of professionalism, interpersonal, organizational, negotiation, presentation, teamwork, and written and oral communication skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and quickly adjust to rapidly shifting priorities to achieve deadline objectives while diminishing factors that could hinder progress. • Ensure that all projects are completed on schedule, within budgetary constraints, and are accurate. • Prioritize and report changes in project status daily. Notify supervisor/project managers of scheduling delays or conflicts. • Portfolio of existing work should demonstrate design ability and potential. • Failure to achieve results can normally be overcome without serious effect on schedules and programs.
