Director New Products (m/f)
Purpose of the job:
Director New Products is responsible for key accountabilities for long term business success, to provide consolidated European input to the global strategy, to develop and implement strategies for key disease areas and to provide german input on potential BD&L opportunities in alignment with Europe and Global
Your responsibilities are amongst others:
Develop and implement specific activities to optimize and accelerate the development program to achieve best long-term performance across the franchise, e.g. creating a launch strategy, initiating pre-marketing/PR activities, market research and internal communication
Reassure optimal alignment of Global/European strategy
Ensure timely development of robust strategic/tactical plans for each pipeline product with specific efforts for KOL management/development & Targeting/Mapping of Key Customers
Work closely with Thought Leaders in all key pipeline indications in the field to implement projects to optimize patient management and drive the franchise forward
Be the specialist in all therapeutic areas of relevance for the pipeline. Deeply analyze relevant markets as well as closely follow key competitors and their likely strategies in order to create a winning differentiation positioning
Support pipeline development through active and valuable contribution as a strong voice in GPTs including Target Product Profile, New Trial Design, Accelerated Registration, Launch Sequence, Market Access, etc.
Ensure timely development of updated forecast models to all full development products
Optimize strategy to maximal capitalize on pipeline opportunities by leading: assessing BD&L projects and supporting global BD&L providing input to global projects as well as flagging European opportunities to global
Co-operation with MDx, etc. in order to fulfill requirements for personalized medicine approaches in Neurosciences/Neurology
Analysis of packaging and blistering requirements

Desired profile
Mindestanforderungen
This is your background:
University degree in Science and/or degree in Business marketing or Clinical research
3-5 years operational marketing experience preferably in Neuroscience/Neurology, including ideally RE/Global organization experience, with emphasis on product/brand management and medical task area
Successful experience of launching a key brand
Strong conceptual marketing framework developed though managing different brands or products in different disease areas
Sound business analysis knowledge and forecasting skills to assess business impact of current pipeline as well as BD&L opportunities
Ideally deep understanding of Neuroscience/Neurology market dynamics and competitive issues, Neuroscience/Neurology drug development, including clinical trial design, regulatory issues and reimbursement
Ability to quickly analyze new markets
Proven ability to operate in a matrix environment and influence cross-functionally (incl. Research & Development, Medical Affairs, Business Analysis, Marketing and Market Access) and cross-culturally
Leadership experience (nice to have)
Good understanding of ‘brand financials’ (profit and loss)
German/English – fluent both in written and spoken
