This can included employees and contracted vendor employees who work for Samsung. Samsung Austin Semiconductor is a 24x7 operation and individuals will be managed by the supervisor. Specific Job Duties: • Responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of Manufacturing Specialists (full time and contract) who are involved in the wafer fabrication process. • Schedules resources, develops staff, tracks metrics, and prepares reports and presentations regarding progress toward production goals. • Ensures safety, quality, and productivity of staff.

Necessary Skills / Attributes
• Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering • 3-5 years of manufacturing experience • Supply chain management Experience is desirable. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills required • Ability to Multi-Task in a fast pace environment. • Excellent organizational skills, ability to assess situations, make decisions and set priorities • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point • Strong data analysis and problem solving ability • Knowledgeable on Theory of Constraints, Lean Manufacturing, and basic Fab operations • Knowledge of Fab systems (AMHS, SiMAX, RTPMs, WorkPlace, DSS, MSS) preferred • Confers with other supervisors and managers to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments • Coordinates scheduled maintenance with support groups
