Associate Manager, Corporate Security Operations – Tokyo, JAPAN

Corporate Security Operations protects the people, facilities, and assets of the company across the globe. To accomplish our mission, we are seeking an Associate Manager, Corporate Security Operations, based in Tokyo, JAPAN, to oversee security operations in Tokyo as well as other Japan sites. This role will report directly to the Regional Manager of Corporate Security Operations, Japan and Asia/Pacific Region.

The Corporate Security Operations program is part of the Corporate Security & Safety team, which is responsible for the safety, security, business continuity, and crisis response programs globally.

Qualified candidates must be able to interact positively with stakeholders across the full spectrum of business unit owners and demonstrate ownership of deliverables. Ability to build and maintain rapport, understand and adapt to nuances of different internal customers, and adapt rapidly to dynamic business requirements is critical.

The Associate Manager, Corporate Security Operations, JAPAN, will be tasked with assisting in managing and improving security operations within their region of responsibility, including but not limited to:

Executing operations consistent with corporate security standards and enforcing those standards through investigation and escalation when necessary

· 
Planning, directing, and executing event security for small to medium size in-region internal events held within campus space

· 
Performing site advances for Salesforce leased spaces in conjunction with Real Estate Team during lease efforts

· 
Performing unique event and special circumstance security support

· 
Assists in the direction of security operations in-region and when necessary personally oversee/manage those operations

· 
Assists in the direction of Health & Safety operations in-region and when necessary personally oversee/manage those operations

· 
Assists in the direction of contracted guard services in execution of business requirements including enforcement of corporate security standards

· 
Ensures performance of the security contractors as measured by SLA’s, KPI’s, and other indicators

· 
Oversees response to minor incidents and directly participates in the response to major incidents

· 
Works in close coordination with the Risk Intelligence Manager to ensure the proactive protection of our facilities

· 
Coordinate closely with the Crisis Management Team, Security Operations, and the Security Technology & Design teams to manage daily and incident response operations

The successful candidate for this role will be expected to serve in an on call rotation, and be available for emergent situations as needed. This position may travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:

· 
Overall experience of 3+ years in security or closely related services in public or private sector

· 
Mandatory fluency in BOTH Japanese AND English (oral and written for both languages)

· 
Demonstrated experience executing successful security operations programs

· 
Competency in writing, research, and analysis skills

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/SKILLS PREFERRED:

· 
Multi-disciplinary backgrounds (e.g. Security and Real Estate Support)

· 
Prior experience in a fast-paced environment

· 
Familiarity with Salesforce, our culture and use of our business solutions
