Stage - Data Scientist/Environmental Data Analyst (H/F)

Attached to the EHS Department of Innovative Materials, we are looking for a data analyst with a sensitivity to environmental issues in an industrial context. Your main mission will be to :

1.Analyze and understand Saint Gobain environmental indicators – case of study will be carried out on SG Glass Industry activity
2.Identify an energy and CO2 indicator capable of integrating and taking into account :
- The change of perimeter (number of sites) in a dynamic way
- the Process performances regarding output, age, volumes, utilization rate and capacity
Production volume (e.g. stop for repair, concept of isoproduction)
- The production mix (e.g glass transformation passing by coater, lamination, mirroring)
3.Feasibility study to use this indicator for water, waste and air pollutant (Nox, Sox, Dust)
4.Spread the indicator on other activities of the Innovative Materials Sector

Duration : 4 to 6 months

Profil recherché

TRAINING : Master Data Sciences/ Big Data/ Statistics

EXPECTED SKILLS :
- Knowledge of mathematics and computer science
- Knowledge of statistical methods and calculations

QUALIFICATIONS :
- Quality of analysis and synthesis
- Intellectual curiosity requested (to detect the most interesting and usable data within a large volume of data)
- Be autonomous, organized, pragmatic, creative
- Communication skills to present data in accessible format
- Ideally understanding/sensitivity to environmental issues in an industrial context
