Your Challenges :
■ Merry glazing with electronics:
■ Manage studies and workpackages for R&D projects
■ Glass product conception and development: develop new, combine or modify existing electronics
■ Find and test actual electronics and sensors suitable for our purposes
■ Programming of interfaces or control systems
■ Support for integration of communication solutions:
■ Help to implement antennas or communication systems into glass
■ Ensure a seamless integration into Saint-Gobain process technologies
■ Carry out antenna measurements
■ Writing and oral presentation of conclusive reports
For these interesting tasks you should have studied electrical engineering
Experience in either electronic development and testing, electromagnetic simulation or high frequency measurement techniques is recommended
Language skills: good written and spoken English skills are required as well as basic knowledge of German
You are motivated, reliable and show high readiness for action
You are characterized by structured thinking, being well organized and being friendly in the interaction with people}

The Herzogenrath R&D Centre (HRDC) has its core competences in the fields of flat glass, thin-film technology, functional and active glazing. It is one of seven leading research and development centres of the Saint-Gobain Group
Innovation ranks first at HRDC. We develop, industrialize and optimize challenging products with our international team consisting of approx. 190 employees.
Within the HRDC the group DIAS (development of integrated antenna systems) is in charge of integrating electronics and antennas into glazing for various functions and services and is looking for a motivated VIE at the earliest date possible.
