Utilities Maintenance Technician (One-Year Contract)

Key Responsibilities :

·  Carry out maintenance activities such as:
·  Servicing of equipment such as centrifugal pump, diaphragm pump, diaphragm valve, control valve, replacement of mechanical seal, replacement of motor and pump bearing, pump alignment, rigging & lifting.
·  Perform repairs (leak arrest, minor welding,) and other maintenance activities (ex. Vibration, Borescope, Infrared, 316SS Process contacting surface inspection, sterile diaphragm replacement, ) to specified specs and standards per procedure.
·  Able to perform Preventive and Predictive maintenance and data collection for Utilities Equipment / System: - AHU / CRAC Unit / MAU, Clean Steam System, Chillers and Chilled water system, Cooling Towers, Heating Hot Water, Boilers and Condensate System, Water Pre-Treatment (Potable and Soft Water), WFI System (VCD and Falling Film Stills), PFW System / DIW System, Diesel Storage and Distribution, Ammonia system, Oil Free Air Compressor and Air Dryer, Lab Vacuum, CIP Storage and Distribution, Freezer & Cold Room, Bio kill and Waste Water System
·  Attend to equipment breakdown and preventive maintenance on short notice during weekends/public holidays.
·  Support equipment inspection with vendor representative on tanks, column, pipelines and heat exchangers as per RSTO Visual Inspections standards.
·  Refurbish and replace damaged parts to bring equipment back into service timely to support continuous production planning.
·  Perform minor piping modification and rebuild of MRO spare part.
·  Perform polishing and passivation of vessel internal surfaces according to RSTO procedure.
·  Maintain all machine shop tools and equipment such as, and not limited to, welding set, working tooling, lifting gear.
·  To actively participate and perform workplace 5S housekeeping, upkeep GMP Area facilities fitness standard.
·  Able to contribute and implement Safety Improvement Ideas for CI projects works together with System/Equipment Engineers.
·  Perform tasks as defined in the Maintenance Work Orders for assigned equipment or system in SAP.

Required Qualifications :

·  Mobile Elevating Work Platforms, Mobile Vertical (3a) [MOM requirement]
·  WSQ Supervise Work in Confined Space Operation
·  WAH Supervisor

Requirements:

·  Normal Working hours: 0800 – 1700hr (Monday to Friday, excluding Public holidays)
·  Minimum of 3 years working experience, including GMP and Biologics environment
·  Proficiency in spoken and written English.
·  Computer literate on Microsoft Office, Email operating system, CMMS (SAP).
·  Working experience in handling of hazardous chemical.
·  Working experience in basic welding and fabrication work.
·  Preferred working experience in handling of Electro-Polishing Equipment.
·  Preferred experience in operating Digital video scope / Borescope
·  Preferred experience in operating Vibration Instrument.
·  Preferred experience in operating Laser Alignment Instrument.
·  Preferred experience in operating Infrared Camera.
·  Able to interpret P&ID, LOTO mark-up drawings and perform physical Energy isolation processes.
·  Able to perform confine space vessel related work.
·  Able to support night shift as assigned by Task Supervisor.
·  Able to support any other work assignments by Task Supervisor.
