Companion Diagnostics (CDx) is the fastest growing business unit within Roche Tissue Diagnostics, currently working with 30+ pharmaceutical partners on more than 50 ongoing in vitro diagnostic (IVD) development projects. You will be working with the CDx International Business Team (IBT) which is responsible for global commercialization of CDx products and marketing strategy for the CDx portfolio.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
● Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the global market for companion diagnostics
● Support the IBT in commercialization of companion diagnostics portfolio by contributing to key strategic imperatives that impact product adoption
● Build robust marketing tools and materials to support the launch of an innovative companion diagnostic assay and guide our affiliate partners to position our CDx portfolio against competitors
● Initiate appropriate market research; monitor competitor activity and help develop actions to address key threats and opportunities
● Build understanding of key barriers in broad adoption of companion diagnostic assays and help strategize tactics that demonstrate clear value of CDx to existing and potential pharma partners
● Collaborate with regional and affiliate marketing and medical affairs teams to identify and articulate CDx commercialization success stories, and produce content to be delivered at global Roche meetings

QUALIFICATIONS:
Formal Training/Education:
● Currently enrolled in a degree program in marketing, business, science or a related field (required)
● Minimum two years of completed study required; bachelor's degree preferred

Experience:
● Marketing/sales or similar experience in the pharmaceutical, diagnostic or related industry
● Experience in product positioning and branding, plus demonstrated experience of translating science into marketing messages
● Budget management and product launch experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
● Strong business acumen, strategic and analytical thinking
● Scientific literacy
● Superior cross-functional and cross-geographical collaboration and project management skills
● Knowledge of oncology and companion diagnostics market. Understanding of both diagnostic and drug development/commercialization
● Sound financial/model building skills
● Excellent team skills, organizational skills and problem solving skills.
● MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint proficiency
