As a Total Rewards intern you are part of Human Resource and you work in the local Total Rewards Team of the Site in Basel / Kaiseraugst. Human Resources supports both the people at Roche Basel & Kaiseraugst, and HR units at other Roche sites in Switzerland. Working closely with leaders, employees and their representatives, we build an open and diverse work culture based on trust and performance. Our team is a highly recognized local center of expertise. We provide value-adding solutions in the area of compensation and benefits management to support Roche's strategic goal of being an employer of choice and a great place to work in Roche Basel/Kaiseraugst.

Your main accountabilities will be:

·  Help to provide regular internal analytics on compensation topics
·  Support the annual salary benchmarking process
·  Help to prepare, coordinate and execute the annual compensation review process
·  Maintain the content of our team website on the Intranet
·  Support the team in the preparation of job evaluations
·  Conduct Net-to-Net calculations
·  Support & participate in various projects (e.g. Global Grading Project, Migration of our team website to a new content management technology in German and English)

What do you need in your toolbox?

·  You are an enrolled student in a University program with focus on Economics, Business, Finance, Human Resources, Sociology or related fields
·  You are strongly passionate about HR topics
·  Able to work independently, yet also as part of a very high performing team
·  You proactively contribute your ideas and actively approach your colleagues
·  You communicate openly and have a sense for the qualitative and professional implementation of various tasks
·  Have an open mind-set and innovative approach
·  Have a high level of MS Office literacy (especially Excel), any other reporting tool (e.g. Tableau) would be an advantage
·  Fluent in English, German is a plus
