What to expect:

Within the project the position holder advises key users and coordinates with the business process owner on the application, optimization and harmonization of the business processes and business applications for which he is responsible in order to reflect the changing market requirements and the latest technologies. He is responsible for the change management with regard to the business applications used in this area. As contact person he supports the key users of the division and acts as expert of the business applications and processes and works closely together with DC IT. The preferred candidate:

·  Shapes and implements the supply chain processes locally and globally using knowledge of processes and IT solutions
·  Collaborates in local and global IT projects and identifies need for changes
·  Consults and supports the business process owner with regard to the application of supply chain-related IT systems
·  Acts as interface to IT: Translates business requirements, raises change requests and drives developments and implementation, coordinates testing and training
·  Conducts and drives gap analysis (as-is vs. to-be) and coordinates the implementation of solutions that ensure the defined project targets
·  Coordinates development and implementation of solutions with external partners (e.g. 3PL/4PL, IT partners) as well as internal stakeholders (e.g. sales affiliates, product management, procurement, IT, quality and finance)
·  Supports a cross functional, international team in developing project plans in regards to various IT-systems and processes associated with the project team target.

Who you are:

·  Bachelor's or master's degree in business information technology, information technology, business studies or comparable academic background
·  Extensive relevant work experience in IT process management in the supply chain landscape (at least 3 years)
·  Substantial knowledge of operational business processes in supply chain with focus on warehousing and distribution
·  Proficiency in project, change and incident management (HPSM)
·  Strong interest in IT tools, such as SAP R/3, SAP IBP, MS Office, reporting and business analytics (MS Power BI)
·  Great communication skills and the ability to effectively build and maintain partnerships with internal/external stakeholders
·  Consulting competence, ability to bring together divergent interests (e.g. local versus global interests) to reach shared solutions
·  Strong problem solving and analytical skills in a complex and dynamic environment
·  Ability to communicate fluently in English and good knowledge in German
·  Willingness to travel up to 50%

This position is a temporary position limited to one year.
