Key Responsibilities
· Provide sales forecasting inputs into the Roche Diagnostics sales strategy.
· Takes accountability in order to meet sales and profitability objectives within Diagnostics market by managing the efficient and effective implementation of the sales strategy in the assigned territory.
· Provides leadership, as well as strategic decision-making, in developing and implementing tactical national plans.
· Contributes to and achieves results through the management and continuous coaching of direct reports.
· Drive, plan, implement and monitor the required sales activities of the sales team to achieve yearly sales and profit targets and supporting KPIs for the product portfolios.
· Actively drives the collaboration with other internal departments to generate excellent relationships with current and prospect customers.
· Leverages knowledge and experience in defining market strategies and identifying continuous process improvements.
· Develop and maintain strong key account and KOL relationships through regular presence to determine market trends, assess market risks and establish new business opportunities.
· Ensure accurate reporting into Salesforce on market performance & trends, competitor analyses & insights, opportunities analysis, customer requirements and complaints, to develop and grow market intelligence for discussion and review of sales and marketing strategies with relevant internal stakeholders.
Education
· Essential: University Degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, Medical Sciences or equivalent.
· Preferred: Masters or higher in one of above disciplines (e.g. PhD); Related business management post graduate degree advantage (e.g. MBA).
Experience
· Essential: Min 5 years sales management or marketing/product management experience with at least 3 years in diagnostics industry and 2 years in management of sales team.
· Evidence of strong business and financial acumen, influencing and negotiation skills, customer care
· Leadership skills, proven feedback and coaching abilities
· Strong knowledge regarding MS office, CRM and business English
· Strategic agility, clearly conveys objectives, expectations, long term strategies.
