We are currently looking for a Designer Teamsport Colour & Material (m/f).

Tasks and Responsibilities:

·  With the leadership of the Teamhead Design Teamsport Footwear deliver seasonal Colour and Material stories and designs that are both in line with the seasonal creative direction and consumer relevant for Puma Teamsport
·  Work proactively with the Teamhead Design Teamsport Footwear and Innovation team to deliver compelling Material innovations on a seasonal basis
·  Co-ordinate material development with the in house development team, sourcing, and suppliers. Provide testing evaluation, and interpretation of results, and communicating them to the team
·  Provide consumer analysis, market research, and material exploration to the cross functional team
·  Establish seasonal colour palettes and build captivating seasonal stories that resonate with our key consumer in close collaboration with the Teamhead Design Teamsport Footwear and Creative Direction Team
·  Responsible for translating the seasonal stories into tangible Colour and Material design solutions for the entire Teamsport Footwear portfolio, accountable for the completion and update of all Colour and Material specification packages to a consistent format.
·  Execute design deliverables in adherence to product creation timeline.
·  Work with the Product Development team to execute designs that adhere to costing goals while advancing category initiatives and be a development partner through on-site factory presence.

Qualifications:

·  College/University degree or equivalent in Design, Material Design, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Fashion, Apparel & Textile Design or related?
·  Minimum 3 years’ experience within Design Industry as a Color & Material Designer or related
·  An in depth knowledge of materials (leather, textile, woven and non-woven, plastic, print) regarding properties, functional value and limitations, within product design
·  Strong understanding of the relationship between Colour and Product Design
·  In depth knowledge of the Performance Sports market, most notably in Football
·  Knowledge and experience with function based technical products
·  Proficient in Adobe suite, and Microsoft office.
·  A creative flair and a passion for all design disciplines
·  Solution driven mindset with a strong emphasis on collaboration
·  Ability to travel and work internationally 25% yearly
·  Excellent professional presentation and communication skills in English.
