We are looking for top-quality students who attend colleges and universities across the country to work for P&G during the summer of 2019. From Day 1, interns will set priorities and follow through on commitments, work effectively with diverse groups of people, and demonstrate innovation and initiative – all while being excellent communicators.

The P&G Chemicals Sales Team markets products such as fatty alcohol, methyl esters, fatty acids, and glycerin to a variety of industrial accounts. Sales Chemicals interns develop and lead joint business plans with our external customers, including Field Sales, Merchant Market, and the P&G Consumer businesses. Our interns achieve superior brand sales by leveraging their strategic skills, industry understanding, and proprietary research.

Our internships are designed to provide students with an experience-based understanding of business development through real responsibility with targets, goals, and objectives – right away. Individuals must be able to leverage relationships and think analytically to unlock growth for P&G and our retail customers. Interns will draw on creative and data-driven insights to shape business strategy.

Responsibilities during the internship include achieving competitive presence of our brands at assigned accounts. Interns are expected to learn and apply conceptual selling techniques and data-based presentations. Additionally, interns are assigned special projects to complete and are expected to make meaningful contributions to the growth of our brands by completing business analyses and participating in account presentations.

Qualifications

Successful candidates must:

·  Be in their Junior year of an Undergraduate degree program (must be in good academic standing)
·  Have a valid driver's license
·  Be willing to travel on the job and relocate throughout their career
·  Have education or experience in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field (preferred but not required)

At P&G, Intern/Co-Op sessions are considered temporary employment, with a predicted ending point. No full-timeemployment commitments are made; however, depending on satisfactory completion of certain criteria, candidates maybe considered for full-time positions upon graduation.
