Procter & Gamble is known for data driven business decisions and has been a leader in using Business Intelligence (BI) capabilities for many users. To continue improving the Company’s ability to make decisions quickly, we are deploying a new generation of BI tools to support self-service by business users. We are building a new DevOps team to support these solutions, today focused on Power BI, Tableau and Domo.

This role is focused on building and leading operations for this new service. This includes processes for problem and change handling, license, performance and

capacity management, plus security governance. As we are putting all tools in the cloud to support self-serve usage, operational procedures will need to be developed to support that.

As the face of this service, you also manage work to define specific service offerings, create communication materials and training programs. You own regular communication about the service status, and help support users through web sites and internal social media channels. You lead supplier resources to help with the execution of this work.

Qualifications

Who are we looking for:

We seek professionals with a passion for business and technology eager to develop a career in using IT to transform the business. You should ideally have graduated with a BS, MS/MBA, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer/Industrial Engineering, Business Information Systems, or Software Development. We also will strongly value if:

•you display strong leadership, innovation and teamwork skills.

•you demonstrate strong analytical skills (specific technical / IT mastery preferred).

•you show a strong passion for technology and ability to use technology to add business value

•you are able to effectively communicate with a network of internal partners, have strong written and verbal communication skills to influence others to take action

•minimum 2-3 years IT professional experience, esp. in following areas is a plus: Tableau usage and administration, Power BI, Spotfire, Microsoft technologies such as Analysis services, Azure, or other BI application stacks.

•ITIL Certification is an advantage

•you have participated in deploying large scale BI to large numbers of users, especially in Azure, or another cloud environment.

• you were part of defining and implementing operations in a complex, global environment

•you demonstrate practical experience with any programming languages– we look for a person with practical technical experience

We expect you to know English fluently and hold a valid EU work permit.
