IT Manager - Business Intelligence Development & Operations, DevOps Manager for Shipments Reporting

About us

The role combines Application Manager and IT Operations Manager responsibilities. You build and maintain industry leading scaled data & analytic solutions. Specifically, you are responsible for Direct shipment (sales) reporting as one of the top-tier business processes and one of the most critical solutions in our application landscape. You work with a group of ~10 P&G people and ~20 external suppliers from various locations and companies.

Procter&Gamble is known for data driven, empirically based business decisions and needs talented engineers to lead development and operations of next generation systems to help continue to win with consumers. You will work across several suppliers, use different technologies (OBIEE, HANA, SAP BW/HANA, Oracle, Big Data, Cloud) and will be contributing to a significant transformation in Shipments Reporting. The main part of the role will be around overseeing and governing the suppliers delivering operations service.

Qualifications

We are looking for professionals with a passion for business and technology eager to develop a career in using IT to transform the business. You should ideally have graduated with a BS, MS/MBA, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer/Industrial Engineering, Business Information Systems, or Software Development.

We also will strongly value if:

•you display strong leadership, innovation and teamwork skills.

•you demonstrate strong analytical skills (specific technical / IT mastery preferred).

•you show a strong passion for technology and ability to use technology to add business value

•you are able to effectively communicate with a network of internal partners, have strong written and verbal communication skills to influence others to take action

•you can prove ~2 years of IT professional experience, esp. in following areas is a plus: SAP HANA, SAP ERP Logistics - Sales and Distribution, SAP BW on HANA; OBIEE, Power BI, Spotfire, Oracle databases, SQL, PL/SQL;

•you have participated in deploying large scale BI to large numbers of users;

•you were part of defining and implementing operations in a complex, global environment – ITIL certification will be a plus for us, project management, self-discipline & communication proficiency is a requirement

•you demonstrate practical experience with any programming languages– we look for a person with practical technical experience
