In this position:

·  You lead and manage local R&I activities and ensure its efficiency and contribute to one or several central Research & Innovation projects
·  You capitalize and formalize clearly and synthetically the knowledge and the know-how acquired
·  You foster cross boundary working within product/process and R&I ”metiers” to provide the best solutions in a timely manner and collaborate with other R&I Domain Managers during the project taking into account the global innovation approach of the central R&I department
·  You define scopes and goals of innovation and negotiate, control budget of your innovation projects (fees, investments, “metier”/ projects hours)
·  You create networks with universities, associations and partners which are able to provide relevant expertise though open innovation projects, subcontracting, PhD, internships, etc.
·  You ensure, on a regular basis, a technological watch (patents, benchmarking, technical fairs, etc…) on the developments in your field of competencies.
·  You support colleagues on their project by sharing his knowledge / skills.
·  You represent your Domain internally and externally / Visits responsibility / IM & IMES and participates to Innovation communication and lectures

 

Your Profile:

·  Ideally you have Degree in mechanical, automotive, chemistry or plastics engineering, or similar course of studies.
·  Minimum three to five years experience within a similar position within the automotive industry and experience in managing a development project.
·  You are a teamplayer, have good communication skills and are familiar with MS Office tools.
·  Good command of English, German is a must for this position.
·  Knowledge of CAD systems would be desirable.
