PO Intelligent Exterior Systems is European leader and number 2 worldwide for bumpers, as well as worldwide leader on the fenders and plastic body panels markets.
Assignment:
Within our subsidiary in Munich, your main missions are:
- Drive the costing process starting from the customer request for quotation up to the business award.
- Act as program manager for this phase and synthesize the business case for new projects based on information provided by different departments
- Lead the internal review meetings
- Manage the internal release process through milestone committees
- Improve the profitability by challenging the information provided
- To manage his dedicated quotation team to secure the consistency of the assumptions, the budget, timing and the adhesion to the defined procedures and workflows
You will be directly responsible for the accuracy of the project profitability file on which you report on a regular basis to the direct management and through the milestones to the business unit direction. A customer contact can be requested with the main customers.
Profile:
You are a highly motivated young graduate from a recognized engineering school with knowledge in business or a recognized business school with a strong interest for a technical environment.
As part of your studies, you have already undertaken an international curriculum (e.g. one semester or year outside your home country).
You are a team player, a self-learner and have demonstrated some leadership. You have an interest for the automotive industry and a first experience or internship in this sector can be a plus.
You are open minded and with a serious desire to learn, as well as a clear willingness to embark on an international career.
Your English is fluent and have a good command of German.
