Based in Pierre Fabre Médicament's headquarters in the United Kingdom (Reading, Berkshire), you will be asked to assist the local Chief Financial Officer in a reorganisation of the department, which implies setting processes, implementing internal control for the entire entity and reviewing overall department organisation. The placement shall come just after the launch of our latest pharmaceutical product in oncology. As such, your main missions will include:
• Building monthly reporting packages for each department of the subsidiary in order for Finance to better supervise expenditure and performance;
• Organising budget analysis on a department-to-department basis and helping to build a supervision tool for budgets; rolling forecast for yearly budgets; structuring PMT process (five-year plan); contributing to standardised templates for departments to report on their budget;
• Analysing and making recommendations for putting in place main internal control processes;
• Helping to centralise on-going contracts to enable Finance to have better access to them and clarify the implications (payment dates, etc.);
• Following up the launch of our oncology product with ad hoc analysis of sales evolutions, rationalising costs…
• Focusing on balance sheet indicators for UK subsidiary
Dimensions of the job: control management for entire entity (Pierre Fabre Médicament & Pierre Fabre Dermo-cosmétique) interacting mainly with internal actors including local and Corporate Finance, local Director and Head of Sales.
Profil
Assets required for the job:
• English essential
• Solid academic record – Master's degree, ideally an Accountancy studier or degree in Finance / Business
• Team worker
• Flexible approach able to work to deadlines
• Financial / accounting background desirable
• Advanced Excel required
• SCALA and Dynamix system knowledge would be a distinct advantage
Must have a positive can – do attitude. Stay open minded and enjoy working in a constant moving environment.
Must be logical, analytical and have a lot of common sense.
Interested in learning about different cultures, business models and finance KPIs.
This role would suit someone looking for varied role, willing to learn and enjoy being exposed to a variety of different objectives.
This role is based in Reading, Berkshire but may include occasional travel to London.
