For more than 70 years Maxcess has been developing, producing and selling web guiding, tension control, winding and slitting systems for the manufacture and converting of paper, plastic, non-woven and metal.

For our Sales Team West supporting our field sales and customers in France, Benelux, Spain and Portugal, we are looking for an ENGLISH and FRENCH speaking

INTERNAL SALES ENGINEER (f/m)

to join us fulltime at our European Head Office (Fife-Tidland GmbH) in Kelkheim (near Frankfurt a.M., Germany).

Your tasks would include:
• Being a technical consultant to our customers, agents and external Sales Engineers for our product lines Fife Guiding and Video Inspection, Magpowr Tension Control, and Tidland Slitting
• Acting as their link to various internal departments as Engineering and Production
• Handling and follow-up of quotations/sales orders of complex systems
• Clarification and elaboration of technical details and applications
• Occasional participation to customer visits and exhibitions

Desired profile

You would require:
• A general Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering degree (Master or equivalent) combined with at least basic notions of mechanical Engineering
• Ideally 2-3 year relevant experience at a machine manufacturer or in maintenance
• Fluent in English as well as in French
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and MS-Office programs
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in addition to a customer service and team oriented behavior
• Independent, responsible and committed
• Prepared to travel and assist customers on site when required
• A willingness to be based at our European Head Office in Kelkheim, Germany
