Job Description

We’re on the lookout for someone to join our R&D team on a 1 year FTC to help support the successful delivery of a two year seasoning harmonization project for the snacks portfolio in Europe, working closely within the flavour function and cross functionally with sensory, procurement and our regional partners.

What you’d be getting up to:

·  Support flavour and seasoning harmonization efforts across Europe.
·  Support multiple seasoning projects within high timelines.
·  Work effectively with cross functional partners in WESSA to deliver initiatives and ensure excellence in application
·  Collate analytical and sensory data and provide recommendation to flavour team.
·  Complete specification changes for new seasonings and support scale up through to commercialization.
·  Support samples preparation for the project needs.
·  Management of shipments: ensure proper and timely shipment of samples. Liaise with shipment companies.
·  Complete and keep proper up to date records of samples prepared, items sent.
·  Support hiring manager on ongoing projects tasks
·  Support and comply with safety and compliance initiatives on site.

Qualifications/Requirements

What we’re looking for:

·  BSc or MSc in a Food Science or related discipline withexperience in FMCG R&D, product/technology roles
·  Capable of planning, executing and delivering daily pilot plant (samples preparation) duties within specified time frames
·  The ability to learn specific, practical techniques and apply this knowledge to solve technical problems
·  Good hand and eye coordination and the ability to use technical equipment with accuracy
·  Computer literate including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
·  Ability to communicate to R&D peers and project managers
·  Be a Self-starter, self-motivating with an ability to communicate with R&D international Team and Operations
·  Results driven, demonstrate an ability to persevere and provide timely and direct feedback to others.
·  Ability to be able to work independently and to deal with change and complexity against tight timelines.
·  Good Cultural Sensitivity & Ability To Bring Others with you

·  Whilst the role is day based at one location, willing to work flexible hours on occasion and travel as necessary.
