THE ROLE
The Credit Analyst is maintaining and analyzing a ledger of accounts to minimize the company’s financial risks. You will analyze its solvency and minimize the number of delinquent accounts and contain the flow to the next financial cycle. You will perform account reconciliations as required, follow up and clean up the un-reconciled items.

As Credit Analyst you will review and analyze the bad debts, work on action plan to recover these together with the Credit managers. You will be in contact with your client by call in order to rehabilitate the overdue account. You will track and present your overdue account portfolio to the internal Financial Stakeholders (Credit and Sales Managers).

You will take care of the DSO reduction, OTIF resolutions of disputes and manage the SLAs and KPIs related to the Credit risks of your portfolio. Regularly you will review the Credit risk and credit limits for your account portfolio and assist the compliance with Collection Principles, Finance standards and policies. You will analyze your “Promise-to-pay” conversion and timely adherence to dunning process.

Also you will support the relationship building between the near-shore and off-shore teams, credit experts, business units and customers.

This role will improve your finance insights while dealing with different types of accounts / financial disputes. It will give you an overview of how a global corporation is following up with their accounts on the financial status and you will enjoy working in a multicultural team.

Once you will have more expertise with your accounts, you will try to find enhancements for improving the current work flow. Also you will support your line manager with coaching and training of new employees in the team.

Profil recherché

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
• Bachelor or University degree in Economy, Finance or related field or related experience
• Experience working in a Shared Service Centre environment an advantage
• Fluent English working proficiency + Dutch is an advance
• High level of service mindset
• Good knowledge of SAP or ERP system preferred
• Very good communication and negotiation skills
• Strong assertiveness and team spirit
• Analytical skills and problem solving skills
• Basic business sense
• Strong self-organization and time management skills
• Organized, stress resistant
• Continually seeking out new improvements and opportunities
