about the role

Within the region, NSI is accountable of implementation of the projects triggered for either optimization or organic growth. We are expected to be as efficient as possible to implement those projects which means maximize the benefit for the company and its customers on both quality and costs. Can do attitude, quality orientation and cost awereness are key for our people.

We are more and more developing the virtual teaming in order to avoid the “silo mode” and to have the project managers involved early in project definition to secure correct asumptions are taken into account and ensure that execution against the plan is realistic.

Joining this team is a good way to grow in project management at a time where the network is evolving fast toward Very High bandwidth and SDN.

All projects supported by NSI PM have International scope and therefore require high efficiency and a good knowledge of technologies.

Network implementation:

Initiate, plan and execute network projects on Backbone Networks

control procurements, logistics, deliveries, regulatory and customs aspects with the concerned entities (department)

deploy network infrastructure (PE, MEA, Internet, etc) to support customer growth at the major Network Center

submit Network Change request as per defined Network Change Management process

utilize and have proficiency with Network and Customer IT tools to ensure data integrity of the infrastructure throughout the region

ensure KPIs for on-time implementation of projects are achieved, while strictly following the Orange network change management process to ensure operational excellence.

prepare hand over of completed projects to Operational entities with related documentation

Circuit Orders:

Validate, Process all Circuit Orders (new, cancel, rehome) to Carriers and CS&O team.

Pro-actively monitor the status of project related orders, both internal and vendor

Manage and update  accurately network circuits info in Orange Tools (ECMS/PPD) & ensure data integrity

Manage the timely implementation of transmission capacity (circuits) on Orange networks, in-line with customer demands or Orange strategy.

Infrastructure & access optimization:

Provide high quality project management for network optimization projects which lead to significant Monthly Recurring Charge (MRC) savings for Orange Business Services. Coordinate activities with Sourcing, CS&O, AOM, CSM, FOIS, Sales, Finance  and other teams/stakeholders to accomplish network infrastructure projects within budget and agreed deadlines.

Manage Renewal/Recommitment projects and establish a direct communication channel with CSM & Sourcing

Trigger New Migration Projects in NAOMI tool and follow up with all key stakeholders on the project progress

Capture and track all installation costs and penalties (e.g. penalties due to PTT for disconnecting circuit prior to contract date).

Provide detailed financial results of the project including MRC savings, applicable penalties for disconnects, etc. Use Excel to create progress graphs.

Track all disconnected circuits to ensure they are removed from the PTT invoices and all Orange Business Services tools are updated.

Identify any missed disconnect and/or down connections on the network and assume full ownership to get them ceased and configuration removed via AMIS PDV

Support:

Create and distribute regular reports

Share best practices and coach less experienced team members to contribute at a high level of performance. 

Chair regular meetings with key stakeholders to ensure project progress and escalate to management any potential delays

about you

University degree or equivalent experience in telecommunications

5 years professional experience in international telecommunications business.

Project Management skills and/or certification (e.g: PMP, Prince2, …)

Technical skills & good expertise on ATM, IP, Dial and telecom platforms

Good Knowledge of Cisco Routers, Juniper, Nortel Passports (Cisco Certifications is a plus)

Good communications and interpersonal skills

Fluent in English, both written and spoken, Another language is a plus.

Flexible, self-motivated and able to work independently and under pressure with the ability to take initiatives

Agile and capable to work in virtual team environment

Proficient in Excel, Word, and MS Access. Understanding of Orange Business Services products and/or circuit provisioning tools (e.g. SESAM, OPAS, GINI, and FILEADE) is a plus.

base salary from 1,380 € brutto per month, actual salary is likely to be higher based on skills, knowledge and experience.base
