Position Description
CGI Federal is seeking a motivated business analyst with a background in federal financial systems implementation and operational support. This position will include working with our proprietary COTS product, Momentum Financials®, with our Department of State client is located in Rosslyn, VA.

The ideal candidates will possess strong analytical skills and will have some experience with federal financial ERP systems (e.g. Momentum Financials®, Oracle Financials, SAP), and knowledge of SQL. It is expected that the analyst will have a solid background in functional analysis, requirements gathering and definition, developing and executing system test plans, and a solid understanding of the traditional software development lifecycle (SDLC) as well as Agile methodologies. Experience with testing automation or robotic process automation is a plus.

This role requires a degree of independent analysis, so self-motivation and the ability to drive and own tasks are imperative. Candidates should have strong writing skills and should be able to communicate effectively and comfortably with all levels of CGI and client management. Top candidates for this position will work well in a collaborative environment and will be eager to learn new functional methods and subject matter.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Meet with Department of State clients to gather requirements for new system enhancements or modifications, and then document those changes.
• Configure the Momentum product and document the new configuration.
• Develop traditional or automated test cases for new functionality.
• Develop training material, either traditional or automated test cases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems in the product as a result of various testing efforts.
• Develop SQL scripts to help with all aspects of the project lifecycle, including to help with troubleshooting and configuration.
• Analyze the system data to make sure it aligns with expected outcomes.
• Work as part of a larger team that consists of both functional and technical analysts, developers and others.
• Attend meetings, lead meetings and document outcomes as required by the project work.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
**Active Secret Clearance**
• 1+ years experience working as a business analyst with federal financial systems
• Knowledge of SQL and the ability to write at least simple SQL queries.
• Ability to work at a client site in a collaborative environment.
• Strong organization skills are a plus
• Secret Clearance required
• Strong problem-solving skills
