The primary focus of a Sales Consultant (Pre-sales) is to become an expert in a core set of Oracle products and solutions and to present the value proposition and benefits of our solutions to our partners, prospects and customers and internally to our sales force

As a Staff Internet Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical/functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction, through on-line/in person sales efforts. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations via the internet and/or in person. Present and articulate Oracle product*s strengths, features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Support sales team in online/in-person selling efforts with some supervision. Develop and deliver proposed solution to customers. Approximate percentage of face to face interaction with customers to perform their responsibilities is 10%

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures.3 - 5 years business experience preferred; vendor experience also preferred. 3 years relevant computer applications or database/tools preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Knowledge of system and application design preferred. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred.

As a Sales Consultant you will s upport the sales team in online/in-person selling efforts, develop and deliver proposed Oracle Cloud HCM solutions, and become a trusted advisor for the customer with the end goal of winning the deal. Approximate percentage of face to face interaction with customers to perform these responsibilities is 10%.

Description:

The Sales Consultant is responsible for presenting Oracle's HCM product offerings and business benefits in the best light to prospects and customers, evoking confidence in Oracle's solutions, and removing all functional objections in the sales cycle. This position will support the pre-sales efforts of sales teams covering businesses of all sizes in all market segments and a variety of industries. The Sales Consultant must be able to understand their prospect's key business requirements and demonstrate Oracle HCM applications' functional capabilities to meet these needs. Due to the large volume of prospects and customers in this type of business, this role requires an individual capable of successfully balancing a heavy workload.

Responsibilities:

·  Understand the customer needs through discovery and establish Oracle's HCM applications as the best solution that addresses those needs
·  Articulate the business benefits of SaaS to customers effectively
·  Configure and present customized demos using UI-based configuration and administration tools; proven ability to present effectively via web-based conferencing tools
·  Present Oracle's HCM solutions, including demonstrating deep familiarity with Oracle's HCM Cloud architecture including hosting and security
·  Participate in all appropriate product, sales, and procedural training and certification to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective in the position
·  Attain quarterly and annual objectives assigned by management
·  Respond effectively to RFPs

Desired Skills and Experience:

·  Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, Master's degree is a plus
·  Candidates with experience and/or knowledge of Human Resources and supporting technology, specifically Core HR (employee and manager self-service, benefits) and talent management.
·  Knowledge of enterprise applications, web technology, cloud applications and Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions is a plus
·  Previous work experience or internship in a sales, pre-sales, product management, or consulting role will also be considered
·  Proven time and project management skills
·  Ability to work as part of a team to solve problems in a dynamic environment
·  Excellent oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skill is a must

· Experience implementing or demonstrating HCM software (Oracle, SAP, Ultimate, NetSuite, or Workday) is desired but is not a requirement.
