An experienced consulting professional who has an understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

May act as the team lead on projects. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and configures detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.

5-7 years of experience relevant to this position including 2 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.

The Person
A highly motivated Digital Professional that has experience within a Consultative role managing multiple client relationships. Someone who is able to deliver client solutions and become the trusted advisor to that brand for all optimisation requirements. Strong experience of working both client and vendor side is our ideal profile.

As a Principal Consultant you will be responsible for translating a customer's online business goals and requirements into an Optimisation Roadmap plan and deliver results and insight against this Roadmap back to customers on a regular basis. You will help customers to achieve their stated Optimisation goals including increasing overall online revenue, average order value and conversion rates, increasing loyalty programme registrations and providing guidance on their personalisation strategy. You will leverage a range of analysis, testing and optimisation techniques to help achieve your customer's online business goals.
Responsibilities:
• The Principal Consultant has responsibility for client accounts leveraging any opportunities along the contract life to increase contract value.
• Ensuring all campaign activity is aligned with the budget available, flagging up and negotiating with the client when this needs to be increased.
• Understand a client's online business model, creating a set of objectives for testing and personalisation to ultimately help the client increase revenues. Bringing sensitivity to suggested amendments, being aware of the influence these changes can have on the whole of the website.
• Assist and support the Application Sales Representatives with client prospects to help grow the sector. Support the marketing team at events and generating marketing material to support the sector.
Requirements:
• A degree (BA/BSc) or equivalent
• Previous experience to include: online testing (AB, MVT), website optimisation, web analytics, data analysis, customer usability, CRM, personalisation or data driven online marketing.
• 4+ years' of previous relational experience.
• Proven experience in a problem solving and/or an analytical role, ideally from within digital and / or vendor side. Experience from within either the Travel, Financial Services or Retail industry is highly desirable but not essential.
• Experience managing multiple external clients, the Consultant will take ownership of client accounts with around 40 projects running simultaneously at any one time.
• Experience of commercial negotiations with proven success at renewing client contracts and increasing contract value is desirable.
• A natural, consultative style is essential to build client relationships and gain trust and confidence.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Fluency in English and German, other language skills are highly desirable
