The Product Manager in VIE develops & executes a product strategy of Nexans ANS with the target to support the unit’s demand creation activities and to support of sales team with product and solution information.
. Build all product specifications and communicate to R&D and suppliers in order to propose the right offer (one or many products) at the right cost of production: technologies, quantities, services, etc
. Have a broad understanding and expertise of customer needs and market conditions in a plethora of local markets/territories globally
. Have a broad understanding and expertise of his product range: from costs to design and applications
. Have a broad understanding and expertise of the sales channels and other stake holders, e.g. consultants, architects, etc.
. Demand generation – understand the strategy and develop/execute marketing programs that drive demand for your products
- Drive innovation and new product development
- Identify major changes and evolutions in the product portfolio
- Monitor competition’s product portfolio and communication strategy with respect to technologies, costs, quality etc.
. Develop content for sales tools, e. g. presentations, demonstrations, datasheets, white papers that highlight the value proposition of the ANS solutions/products
. Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and to promote the sale of ANS products
. Participate in promotional activities or trade shows to market products or services
. Support sales in projects, meetings and negotiations with potential clients and business partners to pursue business opportunities.
- Bachelor or master degree in engineering or informatics, preferably in technical or project management
- Languages: German, English preferably at least 1 extra language (French)
- Experience: starter / 1 to 3 years in technical sales, projects or business development, preferably in an international IT, telecom or cabling environment
- Smart, independent, shows strong initiative and motivation, structured working style, good assertiveness
