In order to achieve always more challenging projects in a pet welfare environment and within the respect of Nestlé people core values, we are looking for a Packaging Specialist for Plastic laminates . In this position, you will ensure the execution of packaging development and maintenance projects for a given packaging primary technology, including its secondary, tertiary pack and palletisation (packaging format). You also will be responsible to implement packaging Innovation and Renovation projects, product performance and Total Delivery Cost savings projects while ensuring that compliance, target cost, target quality and target speed are met.

Key responsibilities

· Collaborate with marketing and other functions to build strong Packaging solutions delivering brief needs.
· Deliver lean packaging design for relevant packaging format. Ensure appropriate involvement of Technology Platforms and Engineering teams for assigned format and ensure risk assessment defined for factory trials with the appropriate stakeholders.
· Develop Packaging specifications including primary, secondary and palletization patterns for assigned format to meet consumer, quality and process needs.
· Lead packaging and supplier developments for assigned packaging format within the team to ensure sustainable optimised TDC along the complete value chain.
· Identify and implement TDC savings initiatives.
· Validate new packaging materials with factory trials for manufacturing qualification
· Actively participate in 360 quality reviews to continuously improve our product performance and maintain our competitive advantage in the market place.
· Lead and participate to Problem Solving activities (GSTD / DMAIC) / projects within factory and central organisations.

Required Profile

· BSc / MSc in packaging or print technology, engineering, materials science or equivalent
· 3-5 years' experience in Packaging Development in plastic laminates in R&D environment or Operations
· Experience in a factory is an asset
· Good networking abilities
· Fluent in English
