Position Summary:

Support the Mississauga factory by having in-depth knowledge of the technology including advanced implementation planning, complex configuration, performance tuning, and standards/procedures development. This person defines the operational protocols and ensures adherence to division and local standards for the specified technology. Lastly, they are direct support for those persons working with this technology.

Major Responsibilities:
· PC Administration and help desk support, MSOffice, Passwords, PC reloads, etc.
· IT related hardware knowledge, installation, configuration and troubleshooting
· Maintains procedures for backup and recovery of plant wide systems
· Software maintenance, perform system administration functions for various business applications
· Windows administration (Version 7 and up, Server 2003 and up), implements division-approved operating system security patches and upgrades
· Be part of the defined on call rotation, demanding that in sequential order the employee accepts off hours requests from our 24 hour/day operation
· Support networking infrastructure, Cisco Router/Switch Configuration management, Planning, Wiring, Wireless Access Points, DHCP, DNS.
· Phone Management (Cell Phones and Desk Phones)
· Manage documentation (Disaster Recovery Plan, Knowledgebase, Document Control, Compliance, Inventory, etc)
· Asset Management (Hardware, Software, Expense, Capital, PO's, Asset Management, Licensing Maintenance, Storage/Loaner Management)
· Manage support requests (security access, SAP incidents) by acting as a conduit for end user requests that are destined for 2nd and 3rd tier support groups. Track progress, and communicates results to the end user.
· Data security Administration.
· Supports plant SCADA Node thin client Infrastructure (ACP ThinServer & Thin Clients) and other related common areas with Controls (iFIX and iHistorian, SCIM, Visual Source Safe, AutoSave)
· Administer factory databases including MS SQL Server, and IBM DB2. This involves managing database backups and recovery, scheduled jobs, and custom report generation using MS SQL Reporting Services.
· Deploy and maintain factory floor and administrative applications.
· Administers and develops (as needed) all plant web services – Intranet (SharePoint), Adhoc programs, IIS, Server, Software, Development, Web Security, ASP.Net.
· Performs tier 1 remote support for assigned sister distribution center locations.
· Follows all job related guidelines for personal, product, factory safety and security.

Qualifications:

· Bachelors Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems or an equivalent mix of education and relevant work experience.
· 1-3 years development, database, and systems administration or equivalent experience.
· 1-3 years related experience in client/server operations/hardware maintenance and user support operations.
· Working knowledge of VB.Net and ASP.Net programming languages, MS SQL database systems a necessity.
· Working knowledge of IBM DB2 and MS SharePoint systems an asset.
· Individual must be detail-oriented, methodical, and well organized, with intermediate computer skills.
· Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Power point required.
· Willingness to become familiar with multiple Nestlé-developed software applications. SAP experience an asset
· Strong interpersonal and time management skills, excellent prioritization and communication skills.
· The successful candidate is a creative thinker with strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills. They will be able to work independently and manage with multiple demands.

· Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail with strong initiative, customer service focused attributes.
