Responsibilities

The Business/Project Analyst is a crucial role in creating and maintaining the strategic partnership between Business needs and Technology delivery in a dynamic web based environment. The Business/Project Analyst will be responsible for analysis and the development of business requirements and related rules and artifacts based on GolfNow needs for tactical projects under the guidance of the Product Manager.

Job Duties

·  Prepares user stories, requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations.

·  Understands organization's direction, structure, and requirements

·  Performs research and analysis of the organization's industry and competitive position.

·  Assists with the administration and analysis of website optimization tactics, A/B and multivariate testing efforts.

·  Partners will various business teams to ensure proper tracking and reporting of key website metrics (Google Analytics).

·  Documents and analyzes required information and data related to website key metrics, customer experience and project/program performance.

·  Understands technical design specifications.

·  Analyzes, identifies and documents system deficiencies and customer pain points, and recommends solutions.

·  Coordinates with other members of the Product & Project Team and reviews project proposals to establish goals, time frames, limitations, and procedures for accomplishing the project

·  Assists Product Manager with backlog grooming and sprint planning activities as needed

·  Takes guidance from Product Manager; appropriately and accurately applies comments/feedback.

·  Assists in management and enforcement of project deadlines and schedules.

·  Understands the necessity of project processes and standards and applies them consistently.

·  Develops internal and external meeting objectives and agendas.

·  Manages several projects concurrently.

·  Works with QA team to create test plans and ensure that new features meet business requirements

·  Creation/revision of the following UI and analysis artifacts and deliverables:
Process Maps
Business Requirements
Business Rules
Wireframes
User stories
Use Cases
User acceptance/test cases

Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications

·  BA/BS Degree,preferably in a technology related field

·  3-5years Business/Project Analysis experience; at least 2 years in a web environment preferred.

·  Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate complex concepts effectively and confidently with users, team members and management.

·  Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.

·  Strong facilitation and presentation skills. Must be able to elicit requirements, using a variety of methods, from various personalities across organizational and geographical boundaries

·  Possesses working knowledge of HTML and database design

·  Knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile

·  Experience with wireframe & process/page flow tools desired (i.e. Visio, Hotgloo, etc.)

·  Familiar with A/B testing strategies and tools (i.e. Optimizely, Monetate, etc.)

·  Experience accessing and analyzing web analytics (i.e. Google Analytics, Omniture, etc.)
