Shaner Hotels, a leading owner / operator of hospitality properties, has an opportunity for an Assistant Front Office Manager to join our team at our award-winning Playa Largo Resort and Spa. This unique Autograph Collection Resort includes 14.5 secluded, beachfront acres, 144 luxury rooms and suites, 10 private bungalows, a 3-bedroom beach house, ballroom with private courtyard, exclusive members club and private marina with boat ramp. Playa Largo offers plenty of waterfront and indoor space for events ranging from weddings to private and corporate events. This property also includes on-site restaurants and bars, a Sunset Terrace, a full service spa, salon, sports courts and fitness facilities.

The Assistant Front Office Manager will help to ensure the successful operation and administration of our front office functions including reservations, registration, bell services, telephone services and guest accounting. The ideal candidate will have a combination of education, training or experience that provides the required skills such as training staff, writing schedules, performing mathematical computations, and maintaining proper security of all cash funds. This position requires the capability to ensure that the department is continually balanced, while focusing on providing an exceptional experience to every guest. We are seeking an energetic, service-oriented leader who can effectively train, coach, motivate, engage, and provide feedback to the front office team in accordance with the standards of Marriott and Shaner Hotels.

Job Requirement :



The ideal candidate will have:

·  High School Diploma, Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
·  1 year of front office experience in the hospitality industry
·  Knowledge of front desk procedures and protocol
·  Exceptional communication skills (both written and oral)
·  Excellent customer service skills
·  Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
