About the role:

The Assistant Front Office Manager supports the Front Office Manager in administering front office functions and supervising Talent on a daily basis. This Assistant Manager will direct and work with managers and Talent to carry out procedures ensuring an efficient check in and check out process; and ensure guest and Talent satisfaction while maximising the financial performance of the department. The Assistant Front Office Manager is the "face of Aloft", dedicated to providing the very best of the Aloft vibe in every guest and Talent interaction.

Skills and experience:

·  Minimum 3 years experience in the guest services, front desk, or related professional area in a 4-5 star hospitality environment (of which at least one year is at a supervisory or managerial level).
·  Good English communication skills, both written and spoken
·  Strong interpersonal, organisational and problem-solving skills
·  Passion for delivering energetic customer service and leadership
·  Competent with Word, Excel, PowerPoint
·  Competent with OPERA software or similar (desirable)
·  Approved Manager license (desirable)
·  First aid certificate (desirable)

Essentially you will be a confident self-starter and enjoy working within a sassy team, possess a proactive approach and demonstrate integrity and care for your team and guests. This is not a role for the light-hearted – you must be prepared to dedicate yourself to the development of the hotel and be able to give it your all to ensure its success.
